WELL and truly hit the crossbar yesterday. Hakka did the business at Wolverhampton (15/8) but Cactus Valley was touched off at Ripon at 12/1. Hey ho. As for today, I’ve been waiting for LORD REASON to reappear and he runs at Chelmsford at 6.20. His turn is nigh and hopefully it will be today. The other selection is…
… well, it was going to be Kashtan but he’s a non runner. So MARKET SHARE is a value bet. David O’Meara’s ex-French recruit ran in a Listed race behind Shifting Power at Windsor on his UK debut and wasn’t disgraced. Today he has his favoured soft ground and goes in a class 2 handicap at Nottingham (3.50). He has top weight and it is a competitive race and his wily trainer might even have an eye on Royal Ascot. I love Extremity but he’ll hate the soft ground and he’s clearly running to get a mark for Ascot. An each-way double is advised.
PS. Fillies are funny things and you have to catch them right. Enlace is in form and could follow up her recent Goodwood win at Chelmsford tonight. Plane Song and Sign of the Kodiac are other fancies.
Eway or win double and BTW keep up the good work
Each-way as they are decent prices. And thanks.
