TIME for a new column. Every day we’ll highlight two horses we fancy to do the business. Pretty simple really. We kick off today with CLOUD SEVEN in the 7.45 at Nottingham. He won a class 5 handicap off a mark of 68 with ease at Kempton and despite a 10lb rise is expected to go in again this evening. LOAVES AND FISHES fluffed her lines in the Cheshire Oaks but is highly regarded and is expected to put that run behind her today at Goodwood (4.25) over a shorter trip on better ground. She rates decent each-way value at around 14/1 at the time of writing.

Keep a close eye on a couple of two-year-old debutantes today: WAR WHISPER at Goodwood (2.10) and COOL SILK BOY (Nott 6.05). Both are Royal Ascot possibles.
