All roads this week lead to Sandown on Saturday for the group 1 Coral Eclipse, which could prove to be So You Think’s last race in Britain before he returns to Australia.
Opposition is likely to include Nathaniel, Bonfire, Carlton House, Crackerjack King and Cityscape. With plenty of rain forecast this week hopefully conditions won’t turn into a quagmire.
Meanwhile, Jamie Osborne is enioying a fruitful season with 22 winners so far and he has a really promising type in Sondeduro.
After showing distinct promise in maidens, he got his head in front at Bath when upped in trip last time. He still looked a bit inexperienced and in need of even further, so he is up to 12 furongs at Wolverhampton today (4.45). He has an excellent chance of following up.
Cellist should take the 4.15 at the same track while at Windsor Exceedexpectations, who showed a degree of promise on his debut, should go very close under Jamie Spencer.
Also at Windsor, Clive Cox’s Drummond is on the upgrade, and could have been let in lightly in the 8.10pm.
Good luck.
