A Grey Day for Hayley?

It’s going to be a huge week for Hayley Turner as she prepares to become only the second woman to ride in the Derby.

The upwardly mobile jockey’s riding skills just seem to get better and better, but before the razzmatazz of Epsom comes the bread and butter of riding at Kempton this afternoon and Windsor this evening.

Hayley’s best chance looks to be on Grey Seal in Kempton’s 2.45pm. owned by Lord Vestey and trained by the in-form James Fanshawe, the filly showed promise at Lingfield last time and should improve enough to take a hand in the finish. Hayley should also go close with course winner Lastkingofscotland in the 4.15pm.

One to keep an eye on at Windsor this evening is David Elsworth’s Salford Dream. He was nibbled at in the market on his debut at Newmarket and after missing the break he made eyecatching headway before weakening. He should definitely improve for the experience.

Meanwhile at Carlisle take note of Adorable Choice in the 8.20pm. He tends to have two ways of running but he is a decent horse if he is allowed to bowl along in front. His three wins have all come when making all and he has a decent draw here.

Good Luck!
